.Jenny Perry Mosaics

Jenny Perry grew up in sunny Southern California, an only child with a big imagination. She sold her first pieces of art in the second grade when classmates thought her mermaid drawings were pretty enough to pay 25 cents for.

She fell in love with mosaics in 2001 and never looked back. She joined SAMA (Society of American Mosaic Artists) in 2003 and that opened up a new world of inspiration and learning opportunities.

In 2007 she traveled to Venice, Italy where she earned her Master in Mosaico certificate at the 19th century Orsoni glass foundry. In 2009 she spent a week in Cuernavaca, Mexico studying color theory and realism at the Perdomo School of Mosaic.

In May through July of 2015 she was honored with a solo exhibit in The Governor's Gallery in the Oklahoma State Capitol Building.

Her work can be found at the Red Door Gallery in Medicine Park, Oklahoma and in private collections across the United States and in Canada, England, Italy, and New Zealand.

She works from her funky and cool little studio in downtown Frederick Oklahoma where she teaches monthly workshops and spreads mosaic love.
